The establishment of Ethos Athleisures as a brand began through years of experience in various fashion and fitness industries. Ethos was born as a culmination of years of work in advertising, print and television, sports retail and marketing, all contributing to the brand’s foundation. Established during a global pandemic, true grit and guts pushed for the brand to evolve from a purely viable swimwear business to a movement that aims to promote both healthy physical and mental lifestyles for both men and women – of all body types.

Ethos is a Greek word meaning “character” that is used to describe the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterize a community, nation, or ideology. And character is what makes Ethos unique. Embedded into the brand’s heart and soul are its values of Inclusion, Inspiration and Innovation, as Ethos takes into account every body type and their specific comfort and fit needs whilst keeping a sophisticated and contemporary fashion expression. Ethos aims to empower every type of body with the authentic confidence to both feel and look great.

Ethos does not glorify one particular body type. The universal ideal body as presented by glossy magazines and recently, social media, is but an illusion peddled to us throughout the decades. Reality is, our body type could be different from that of a fully sculpted model and truth is, not all of us are models. But that shouldn’t discourage us from aiming to achieve our own perfect body.

Ethos believes that the pursuit of one’s ideal body is uniquely their own. And Ethos aims to be part of this journey. Ethos creates designs that consciously looks at thoughtful details supporting various body types through innovative fabrics and engineered construction.
